Art statement:
Broken up into separate canvases, my pieces act as a puzzle. After being joined together, they closely resemble the Los Angeles transit map that many of us have seen and used.
Following the theme of transportation, I chose to repurpose my extensive collection of train routes. Sewing dozens of pamphlets together, I was able to create the pants and shirt I am modeling here.
